  We contracted Ray White Freshwater to let and manage our furnished property in North Manly for the few years we were to live in the UK.
  We encountered then numerous problems: missing statements, late rent...The agency changed three managing agents in less than one year. They seem to have no idea who else lives on the property and what the inventory consisted of.
  All inspection reports stated that the the property was in good condition. The pictures and videos taken though were typically irrelevant. When we asked specific ones, we realised that the property was in appalling condition, unkempt and dirty. The walls were dirty and greasy and the ceilings had patches indicating a flooding from the roof we were not informed of, hence no insurance claim was made. More, without our knowledge or agency approval, our furniture was moved out to the open carport where it was destroyed by infestation from insects and mould. The agents have not ever bothered to check the inventory, performed at our cost on Ray White's reception of the property.
  When complaining about this state of affairs, Graham Bennett, the Principal of Ray White Freshwater, resigned the contract by email, offended, according to him, by our dissatisfaction with his services. Moreover, Mr. Bennett gave us a month notice knowing that we were living in the UK and we were at the time on holidays abroad.
  We spend our holidays looking from abroad for an agency on the North Shore. The new agent refused though to let the flat unless he had it repainted, thoroughly repaired and cleaned and the furniture completely removed because the property was "filthy" (quote) and the photos taken proved it.
  Yet at the handover to Ray White, the property was in very good condition, as recorded by due process. In fact, it is our home.
  As a result, we have incurred damages and loss of rent of at least ten thousand dollars.
  We complained three times to Ray White's corporate offices. While they automatically acknowledged receival, they never proceeded to investigate and respond.
